Medomak Exchange is a nonprofit organization in Waldoboro, Maine, working to make our community a place where people can share what they have, find what they need, and get to know one another.

Our work has grown in a number of directions since we began in 2021. At Good Things Thrift & Craft, donated furniture, household goods, clothing, books, and all sorts of other discoveries are given another chance to be useful. The shop helps support our programs while making secondhand shopping affordable and enjoyable for the community.

Our Free Clothing Closet offers clothing at no cost in a welcoming, organized space. We believe that everyone deserves to find what they need with dignity, regardless of their circumstances.

Medomak House, a historic Waldoboro property dating back to the nineteenth century, is being cared for and developed as a place for community activities, learning, creativity, and gathering. The grounds are also home to our Community Garden, where neighbors can take part in growing things together.

We also share the Medomak House property with the independently operated Waldoboro Food Pantry, an important resource for people in the surrounding communities.

There are plenty of ways to be part of Medomak Exchange, whether you're stopping by the thrift shop, looking for a resource, volunteering your time, or simply curious about what we're doing. We're glad you found us.
